The Carl C. Anderson and Marie Jo Anderson Charitable Foundation has awarded a $10,000 grant to establish the Anderson Charitable Foundation Senior Dental Fund to support dental care at the Texas Tech Dental Oral Health Clinic. Harold Hahn, chairman of Rocky Mountain Mortgage Co., and his wife, Beth Hahn, matched the donation with a $10,000 gift, and El Pasoans Adolpho and Debbie Telles contributed $7,000 to further its impact. The clinic at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso allows students to gain real-world experience under the guidance of instructors, and dental services are provided to the community at a reduced cost. Adults aged 55 and older are eligible to receive services supported by the grant’s funds. According to Texas Tech, only 50% of El Paso residents visited a dentist in the past year.
