On April 11, 2019, after a prolonged illness, Marolyn Peterson Semple closed her eyes on this world and opened them in the next.
A loving mother and teacher, boutique owner and real estate broker, Marolyn was an avant-garde style maker and trendsetter. Her influence lives on in the hearts and minds of her friends, students and clients internationally.
A graduate of the University of Arizona who educated all through the Rio Grande Valley, she was known for her ethereal beauty and her likeness lives on in the works of several well-known artists. A fine lady to the end, she persevered and triumphed in spite of adversity.
She joins her twin, Carolyn, and her parents, Nancy and Burt Peterson, in heavenly repose. She is survived by her son, Richard C. Semple IV; his father and daughter-in-law, Judith Martin Semple.
