James Crouch, 90, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, World War II and Korean veteran was called to his eternal resting place on Monday, Jan. 15, 2018, after 63 years of federal service.
He entered this world on April 11, 1927 in Dallas, born to James and Evelyn Crouch. He was preceded in death by his son Frederick James Crouch and his son-in-law Steven Jeffery Amdall. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Lillian Williams Crouch, his children; Kevin Jerome Crouch and his wife Linda, Michael Jay Crouch and his wife Mary, Michele Joan Crouch Amdall, his beloved grandchildren; Steven J. Amdall (Brittany), Michael J. Amdall, Amanda J. Crouch, Matthew J. Crouch, Jacob Crouch, Grayson J. Crouch, Jami Pryke (Ryan), Isac J. Crouch (Kathleen), great-grandchildren; Lillian Amdall, Sterling J. Amdall, Jaxon Amdall and Liam Pryke.
Visitation was held on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2018 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home-West. Funeral service was held on Friday, Jan. 26, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. at Center Chapel 1 on Fort Bliss. Interment followed at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors at 2 p.m.
