‘Not Whole Fence'

Where: Southwest University Park, Santa Fe and Missouri streets

Artist: Ball-Nogues Studio, Los Angeles

About: The 10-foot tall, 126-foot long aluminum fence has opaque and transparent sections that depict a wood grain pattern – including knotholes that function as windows into the park. The pattern is meant to evoke the feeling of a picket fence in the outfield from which the public could peak into the ballpark. It was named to the 2017 CodaWorx list of the Top 100 Best Public Art Pieces in the World.
