Leadership Texas, the country’s oldest organization dedicated to developing women leaders, held a reception Feb. 18 for the nine women from El Paso who will participate in this year’s class.

The women will join 90 other participants from across the state to visit four cities to see how they address critical issues. This year, they will meet with business and community leaders in San Antonio, Laredo, Bryan/College Station and Austin.

The participants from El Paso are: Jessica Christianson, El Paso Electric; Corina Ledesma, El Paso Water; Gloria Loera, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso; Ashley Marchena, Texas Tech; Tresa Rockwell, Progress 321; Andrea Tawney, Texas Tech; Diana Vandivort, Tenet Healthcare; Sandy Vasquez, University of Texas at El Paso; Tracy Yellen, Paso del Norte Health Foundation.
