El Paso Inc. is proud to announce the nominations for 2016’s El Pasoan of the Year.

All together, there are 11 nominees – representing years of work, leadership and dedication – some the work of groups, some nominated as individuals.

Each year since 1996, El Paso Inc. has asked its readers and past honorees to nominate people who have gone above and beyond their job descriptions to make a difference in this community.

El Paso Inc. will reveal this year’s El Pasoan of the Year in our Dec. 25 issue.

There are few more remarkable life stories than that of Betty Moor MacGuire, who was adopted as an infant by Lee and Beulah Moor. Lee had struggled out of poverty to become a wildly successful rancher, contractor and founder of a gas company.
