ScottHulse chair David Bernard announced that the law firm has added four new associate attorneys: David Hansen, Roberto Chavez, Lauren Serrano and John Collins.
Hansen joins the firm’s tax, foundations, non-profits and exempt organizations, and intellectual property sections. Formerly an attorney advisor for the Social Security Administration in Virginia, he has an LLM in taxation from New York University and a doctor of jurisprudence from the University of Texas School of Law. He also has an MBA from Cornell University.
Chavez, an El Paso native, focuses on international and cross-border business, Mexico law and corporate and securities legal matters. He has a doctor of jurisprudence from the University of Texas School of Law.
Serrano, an El Paso native, is in the business law section. Her practice areas include estate planning, probate, asset protection and small business planning. She earned her doctor of jurisprudence at Texas Tech University School of Law.
Collins joins the firm’s litigation, labor and employment, education and construction law groups. A Houston native, he earned his doctor of jurisprudence degree from Baylor Law School.
