At the heart of the city is the Segundo Barrio / Downtown area – and at the heart of those neighborhoods are the colorful murals that have long depicted our cultura, our familias and our historia.

That culture, family and history have been on full display following the Aug. 3 mass shooting in East Central El Paso that shook our community to its core – but also reminded us what we’re all about. Here are some of the more popular murals in the area that help depict the spirit of our community.
